About us

Jenny and I dated for about a year and 4 months and I asked her to marry me on July 5th, 2002. We were married on December 21 at 1PM in Tallahassee, Florida. My immediate family got quite small quite fast. Jenny was a nurse at Memorial Health in Savannah for a good many months. She served as a pediatric nurse and she worked really odd hours. That is the main reason why she switched to working home health with CareOne out of Bluffton. I'll put some pictures of our family and the house up soon.

Jenny and I just got a new puppy. Her name is Geneva but we call her Nevi for short. She is a lab mix and her paws slightly resemble those of a bear.

And Nevi has been growning lately.

About Jenny

I am a proud graduate of The Florida State University School of Nursing. (Maybe someday I can convince James to have our page open with the FSU fight song... don't hold your breath though). I had lots of things that I was involved in on Campus from President of the Student Nursing Association to Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). My favorite would have to be RUF where I will always remeber with happy thoughts the times spent laughing and playing... and throwing people in fountains. I had two of the best roomates in the world for a good part of my time at FSU and owe much of who I am today to their influence (even down to the way I fold towels...).

After graduating two years ago I have spent everyday wondering why life can't be all about playing and light nights at Steak and Shake and Ultimate Frisbee. I started the work grind as a Pediatric nurse. I did this for a little over a year and then after getting married decided that I needed something that did not involve working day and night shifts in the same week. So now... I am a home health nurse in South Carolina. In all honesty it is the farthest thing from what I wanted to do when I graduated but I have found that in terms of work... its a good job that pays bills and ultimately whether I am with kids or adults I am a nurse.

About James

I'm a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology as of December 14, 2002. I co-oped at BellSouth in Atlanta working on various projects with the Science and Technology department there.  I learned a lot but there was never much to do. I now have a job with MegaWatt Lasers, Inc. in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I've never seen so many Hummer's in my life. Hummer's and golf courses. There should be a few pictures of the island soon to come.

I made co-oping at Merck Pharmaceuticals and realized that I don't have much information on where I have been on my web page. I have been involved in the Boy Scouts of America since I was 11 years old.  I first learned to swim on a lake in mosquito ridden southeast Camp Blue Heron in Riceboro, GA.  I made many friends there and more importantly I have memories and ties with people from Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.  My experience at Blue Heron meant so much to me that I made it a point to help other boys have the same experiences by being a counselor at Blue Heron for two summers.

It was a wonderful experience to learn Shooting Sports and Scoutcraft extremely well for the express purpose of teaching others something that I enjoy. Working toward the purpose of teaching other boys about camping, scoutcraft, and the outdoors, I just barely reached the rank of Eaglescout.  I earned it about a month before the deadline of turning 18 years old.  I also took part in BB, Air Pistol, Air Rifle, and shotgun Competition with Bulloch County 4H Shooting Sports.  The last time that I competed in State 4H competition, I won 3rd Place.

During college, I worked in the GSU Co-op program at Merck & Company Pharmaceuticals in Albany, GA. My supervisors' names were Philip Spradlin, Marsha Demers, and Nghia Do.  I had a lot of fun and gained a lot of experiences in my last assignment that will help in my career as an Computer Engineer.
My latest big hobby is photography with the Canon G2 digital camera. This includes our tour of the lowcountry and a couple of Quicktime VR movie stills: Turner Field in Atlanta and Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD .
